Notifications and quiet hours

Which messages reach you in the app and on WhatsApp, what each one means, the switches, and quiet hours.

Audience: DriversSection: Driver-appUpdated: 2026-10-13Version: 2.1

GuyWay reaches you two ways: notifications from the GuyWay Driver app, and WhatsApp messages. Ride offers come as notifications, with a sound, even when the app is closed, so notifications must be on before you can go online.

Where you find it

Open the Account tab and tap Safety and notifications. The screen holds SOS, your SOS contacts, Offers when the app is closed, the notification switches, the quiet hours and Accessibility.

Elements

These always reach you, at any hour, and have no switch: battery recall and battery critical, a 48-hour notice on your car, and anything the safety desk sends.
