Book a car by the hour
Hire a car and driver for a number of hours, with stops as you go, at a price fixed for the time you choose.
Do this when you need a car for errands or meetings, with the driver waiting between stops.
Before you start. Hourly hire shows only when GuyWay offers it: the Hourly tile on Services, or Hourly on Plan your ride. You need a payment method in the Wallet.
Steps
- Tap Hourly.
- Under How long, pick the hours. Each choice shows its price for GuyWay and for Executive.
- Under Pickup and stops, set the Pickup and, if you want, up to 3 stops with Add a stop. Tell the driver the rest as you go.
- Under When, choose Now, or Later and pick the day and time.
- Tap Book, followed by the hours and the price.
What happens next
The price is fixed for the time you chose and taken in the app when the ride ends. Each hour includes a distance allowance, shown under the choice. Time beyond the booking is charged per hour, and distance beyond the allowance per kilometre, at the rates shown on the same screen.
A ride by the hour cannot be made recurring or booked as a return.
